The RoleThe RoleAs a Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for all activities concerned with the Page Europa warehouse on the KPIZ site. Typically our warehouse may receive upwards of 2k items per day. We have 40k items in the warehouse at anytime. During the busy installation and construction phase that we are entering we expect these numbers to increase significantly. This warehouse stocks equipment that is related to the Port Special Systems that we are currently installing, hence experience of working in a warehouse environment that relates to electrical, security and network products is required. This is a 12month open ended contract; we do require proved experience of managing people and of working in a warehouse environment that is technology focused, ideally with electronics. We are looking for an immediate start This opportunity is open to individuals of any nationality providing they meet the criteria set out above. The role is based on the KPIZ site Abu Dhabi, the remuneration package on offer where applicable covers accommodation, travel and subsistence. |
RequirementsRequirements• People Management • Automated Inventory Management • Asset Management • Decision Maker • Issue Resolution • Electronics, Network, Security Systems Knowledge We would expect the candidate to have proven experience of working in a fast paced environment as outlined above, in addition, experience of Automated Inventory Management systems is required; we currently use Inventory 4k. As a manager this person will be responsible for managing, training, scheduling and verifying the work load of a team of 10, made up of 4x Data Operators and 6x laborers. You will be a pro-active decision maker who will have the experience and maturity to resolve issues, and identify potential bottle necks. We already have a process and procedures in place, you will be capable of reviewing and where required modifying and adapting the process, good documentation and communications skills are therefore required. |
