Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The incumbent will be responsible for the entire operation of the warehouse, managing inventories stock control and flow of local assembly work. Provide direction to junior technician on product assembly.
To effectively manage the day to day operations of the Warehouse team by planning and deploying resource in line with volumes to ensure targets are achieved. To seek continuous improvement in all aspect of the warehouse performance

Effective management of all resources to meet customer demands

Targets and standards are achieved.

Effective planning and management of the warehouse.

Ensure all orders are met in full in line with delivery schedule and in line with company processes and procedures.

Capable to adapt and execute the last minute changes / modification / production planning.

Ensure that detailed and effective handovers are carried out between all supervisors.

Maintain Stock Integrity through programme of stock counts and investigations through liaison with Commercial officer.

Performing the role of Key Holder.

Continually review, identify, agree and implement areas for improvement in warehouse operation.

Ensure that the site and company Health & Safety policies are adhered to

Requirements

The Person
You will possess at least 4 years experience within a Warehouse & Distribution environment at Supervisory level and also be computer literate, with good literacy and numeracy skills. Experience of fast moving consumable goods as well as experience of temperature controlled environments would also be desirable.

In addition you should possess the following attributes:

Strong motivator with good communications and people management skills.
Exposure to SAP or ERP system will be added advantage
Planning and prioritizing work to achieve targets, identify and implement improvements to operations.
Able to work as part of a team, flexible approach to work and commitment to operation with ability to accept and implement change.
Always promote Health & Safety and hygiene by example and tackle issues head on.
Experience in electrical and instrumentation products assembly ( Junction boxes / Lighting / LV switch gear ).
