The RoleThe RoleMain Duties & Responsibilities: •Ensures that quality, delivery, budget and company objectives are met •Implements an efficient layout, space management and procedures for effectively running the warehouse •Manages stock control such as: storage, retrieval and timely delivery of goods, shipment loading & transferring, document recording and data entry into system •Planning, organizing and controlling the Warehouse's overall operations •Constantly plan out all the warehouse resources and activities in relation to company’s objectives and set targets •Trains the warehouse staff •Ensures that the workplace’s health and safety requirements are met and takes responsibility for the security of the building and stock •Maintains housekeeping of the warehouse and surrounding area •Issues Inventory report, IN/OUT status report, dead stock report, goods age report, consumption report and manpower status report •Works with the ERP Program to update current activities •Implements cost reduction principle in all aspects of warehouse transactions and activities •Creates daily work logs and coordinates with the sales and operation teams •Promote constant motivation among staff to strive for an efficient and effective warehouse administration •Scheduling of personnel based on sales and customer services requirements •Coordinates activities with sales, customer services, purchasing and financial departments |
