Job description / Role
A Warehouse Manager role is available with a multinational logistics company based in Qatar. Managing a team of individuals responsible for the phased ramp up of operations at a new fully automated warehouse facility for fast moving consumer goods and luxury products. The successful candidate will need to have managerial experience within an automated warehouse environment, and will ideally have prior experience of trialling and managing a new operational start up.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coordination of warehouse operational trials
• Overseeing production and development of performance reporting
• Overseeing delivery of training
• Overseeing development of standard operating procedures
• Staff rostering
• Responsible for day to day operations, when the warehouse ramps up to full functionality.
• Responsible for supervision of the support staff (automated system floor supervisors)
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Managerial experience within an automated warehouse environment.
• Experience of process development and writing SOPs.
• Any logistics qualifications are a distinct advantage.
• Fluent English is essential
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Knowledge of WMS and ERP systems from an operational stance.
• Western Educated is preferred
