Job Purpose:

To contribute to the efficient administration of Company inventory and warehouse management through the effective stock checking of inventory items.
To provide management with the assurance that stock records are accurate and to highlight any procedural problems, thus satisfying:
- The legal obligations to provide accurate figures for the Company Balance Sheet.
- The need to provide Company with the information required to ensure that all relevant contractual obligations are being fulfilled.
- The practical need to ensure that inventory control decisions are based on accurate information about the stock. This in turn will reduce the risk of deferred production due to non-availability of stock.

As a Warehouse Supervisor / Stock Checker your principle accountabilities are:

To conduct stock checks of all Company managed materials held o the company balance sheet as stock in accordance with Group procedures, and as directed by the materials management team lead.
Report and provide summary information on the stock accuracy, condition of stock / storage and general efficiency of the warehouse process.
Highlight underlying reasons for individual discrepancies and trends. Regularly report and make recommendations to both the Company materials team lead on ways to improve the stores management

Requirements

Our client is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor / Stock Checker meeting following requirements:

In-depth knowledge of the materials systems.
In-depth knowledge of warehouse processes.
In-depth knowledge of both warehouse management and inventory management modules within SAP.
Ability to communicate effectively in English with various levels of management both orally and in writing.
The Company materials lead will provide appropriate training, specific to stock checking
