The RoleThe RoleJOB DESCRIPTION SENIOR WATER ENGINEER (DESIGN) ROLE OUTLINE: We are expanding our MENA water design team to accommodate increasing demand from our existing client base and the overall sector. We are seeking a Senior water design Engineer to work in our Doha (Qatar) office. They will be part of the BLP Water Design Services group and they will be responsible for the day-to-day management of projects and design teams. This role requires a high calibre water design engineer. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES • Management of relationships with key clients and contacts across the business including client liaison and development • Management of projects within time, cost and quality constraints and standards • Management of the day-to-day work of the team. • Champions and promotes professional advice, guidance and support across the business • Monitors and manages compliance and KPI’s • Business development including the preparation of tender submissions. • Estimating, pricing and delivering against work targets. Preparation of tender submissions. • Management of engineering outsource partners. |
RequirementsRequirementsSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE: • Considerable proven experience in the field of drinking water, waste water, drainage and flood risk management and assessment. • Management experience including experience of management systems for quality, financial and project controls • Degree qualified in relevant field • Relevant professional qualification • Chartered status or equivalent qualification for a minimum of 5 years. • Knowledge of local legislation and its application a benefit.
