Web Analytics Manager - eCommerce - Kuwait

eCommerce is an exciting new support function within Alshaya as the business launches transactional websites for a number of the 70+ brands and 19 countries within the Alshaya portfolio. The function is rapidly building Alshaya's multi-channel capability to deliver customers' choice and convenience when shopping in a number of rapidly growing online emerging markets. The function is split in to 4 key areas - Trading & Merchandising, Operations & Program Management, Design & Content and Digital Marketing.

The Role:
As the Web Analytics Manager, you will lead the web analytics team for the Alshaya eCommerce central support function. You will be responsible for defining, executing and evolving the eCommerce web analytics strategy. You will deliver a data-driven, decision-making approach to multi-channel business operations in order to drive continuous improvement in web site optimisation, conversion rate and digital marketing efficiency across multiple brands/markets.

Your other responsibilities will include:
* Demonstrating expertise on multi-channel retail web analytics to confidently own, and pro-actively deliver high quality web analysis and insight to the business, and to support the daily evolution of our brand web sites' performance and functionality across multiple brands/markets
* Leading an effective, integrated business-solutions approach with development teams to provide implementation requirements for Adobe Omniture and Google Analytics (Universal)
* Leveraging the full capabilities of web analytics tools (Adobe Site Catalyst and Google Analytics) and training / enabling the online business team
* Implementing a clear approach and process for collating online business function (Merchandising, Design, Marketing, SEO & Content) KPI, reporting and insight requirements
* Designing, building and developing dashboards for KPI reporting to support business needs
* Implementing a program of prioritised in-depth custom reports to communicate key metrics, insight, conclusions and recommendations to the business
* Delivering engaging reports and persuasive presentations of conclusions that drive decisions to support customer journey and experience improvements in order to optimise conversion
* Working in partnership with technology leads to ensure data accuracy and quality in all web analytic tools and implementations
* Collaborating with cross functional teams to define business requirements for new web sites and analytical tool implementations
* Implementing a quality driven UAT approach with support for pre-release testing and quality assurance feedback for analytic code implementations.

Requirements

* Al least 5 years in a senior web analyst role(s) working in a multi-channel retail environment
* Expert knowledge of Adobe Site Catalyst (Omniture) and Google Analytics (Universal)
* Experience with best practices of technical documentation and other relevant business documentation (Change Requests, Business Requirements, etc.) to support effective implementations.
* A track record of delivering site improvements and performance improvement through web site insights
* Able to manage a team of web analysts whilst working in a fast paced and demanding environment, effectively interacting with many cross-functional teams.
