Web Analytics Manager - eCommerce - Kuwait

eCommerce is an exciting new support function within Alshaya as the business launches transactional websites for a number of the 70+ brands and 19 countries within the Alshaya portfolio. The function is rapidly building Alshaya's multi-channel capability to deliver customers' choice and convenience when shopping in a number of rapidly growing online emerging markets. The function is split in to 4 key areas - Trading & Merchandising, Operations & Program Management, Design & Content and Digital Marketing.

As Web Analytics Manager, you will lead the web analytics team for the Alshaya eCommerce central support function. You will be responsible for defining, executing and evolving the eCommerce web analytics strategy. You will deliver a data-driven, decision-making approach to multi-channel business operations in order to drive continuous improvement in web site optimisation, conversion rate, and digital marketing efficiency across multiple brands/markets.

Employing an integrated business-solutions approach, you will direct the development teams to implement Google Analytics and Adobe Omniture. In order to fully utilise all web analytic tools and implementations, you will also collaborate with cross functional teams to define business requirements for new web sites, and work in partnership with technology leads to ensure data accuracy and quality.

Your other responsibilities will include:
* Leveraging the full capabilities of web analytics tools (Adobe Site Catalyst and Google Analytics) and training / enabling the online business team
* Defining a clear approach and process for collating online business functions (merchandising, design, marketing, SEO and content), insight requirements, and KPI reporting (including creating dashboards to support business needs)
* Implementing a program of prioritised in-depth custom reports to communicate key metrics, insight, conclusions and recommendations to the business
* Creating a quality driven UAT approach with support for pre-release testing and quality assurance feedback for analytic code implementations
* Delivering engaging reports and persuasive presentations of conclusions that will drive decisions to optimise conversion by supporting customer journey and improving overall experience.

This role provides the opportunity to demonstrate your expertise on multi-channel retail web analytics, where you will confidently own, and pro-actively deliver high quality web analysis and insight to the business, and support the daily evolution of our brand web sites' performance and functionality across multiple brands/markets.

Requirements

* Al least 5 years' in a senior web analyst role(s) working in a multi-channel retail environment
* Expert knowledge of Adobe Site Catalyst (Omniture) and Google Analytics (Universal)
* Experience with best practices of technical and other relevant business documentation (change requests, business requirements, etc.) to support effective implementations.

The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrable track record of delivering site improvements and performance improvement through web site insights, as well as the ability to manage a team of web analysts within a fast paced and demanding environment, effectively interacting with many cross-functional teams.
