Job description / Role
I am looking for 5 Web Developers with (Python, Django) experience for a client based in Dubai UAE.
Dubai's biggest online classified website is looking for a talented Web Developer to add to our growing and talented team which is now active in 14 countries and three languages. The culture is fun, friendly, creative, energetic, young, and hard working. They pride us on being a site of international standards in a market full of local expectations.
Responsibilities
The candidate will be working in small efficient close working teams on top secret assignments that will change the world (we hope). The candidate must also have a desire to learn new things and be excited about the latest developments in web technology. My client is an ever-expanding site and whomever they hire will be a major part of this.
• Write and maintain clean code following my clients programming practices;
• Gather understanding of the entire code base and technologies and applies knowledge of industry trends;
• Create unit tests to cover assigned work;
• Work within a team on specific development and maintenance projects.
Requirements
Desired Skills & Experience
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience with Python;
• Minimum 2 years of experience with web frameworks using Python, preferably Django;
• Solid experience with data structures and ORM;
• Understanding of modern software development methodologies such as Scrum;
• Experience using Object Oriented Javascript is an added advantage;
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git;
