Web & E-Communication Specialist

Job description / Role

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Web and E-communication Specialist will be the primary contact for all Website, Digital Development and Management

The roles and responsibilities include:
- Create web pages and manage content primarily on PHP / Wordpress / HTML / XHTML;
- Integrate new technologies into Web environment to maintain cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility from a variety of different environments;
- Manage The DSC website ( Front end and CMS) and Co manage other websites on a day to day basis with other divisions;
- Be responsible for SEO / SEOM for all websites;
- Provide digital training and support for the teams;
- Support internal publications managed by the marketing / media team;
- Liaise closely with IT division for smooth functioning all websites and digital platforms;
- Ensure that all brands are represented in accordance to the brand guidelines on various web platforms;
- Update subscriber lists; execute email publications and messages in Exact Target;
- Pull metrics for all websites using Google analytics and other analytics tools;
- Proactively establish and maintain effective working relationships with all support departments in DSC and all Agencies & Vendors that service our account;
- Manage and keep up to date records of all DSC owned media library (Media Management);
- Tracking performance and analytics of all digital campaigns.

Requirements

- Bachelors degree in a relevant field;
- 4+ years experience with content management systems;
- Strong experience on PHP / Wordpress / HTML / CSS;
- Any other programming language is plus;
- Good writing, editing and design skills;
- Highly organized and detailed oriented;
- Strong project management skills;
- Basic graphic design capabilities;
- Knowledge of HTML code;
- Ability to tackle large, time-sensitive projects;
- Ability to manage production and project teams across related disciplines, on time and within budget;
- Outstanding written and verbal communication;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Self-motivated and proactive;
- Strong presentation skills
