The Role


The Role

Our client a prestigious organisation in Qatar is seeking to recruit a Website Content Manager.Key responsibilities include:

- Regularly update content for the company web content;
- Write content for the various company websites in consultation and cooperation with the various departments and consultants
- Re-format content received in a variety of formats to align with company web content;
- Develop and enforce metadata, such as descriptions and keywords to aid in web indexing and improved search ability;
- Pro-actively ensure integrity, accessibility, and optimum performance of web media through mechanisms such as regular web site audits to ensure that web media is user-friendly and that information is easily accessible;
- Draft a “Content Management Policy and Procedures” for the organisation;
- Ensure that web content complies with the company “Content Management Policy and Procedures.”
- Follow evolving industry best practices in web, internet technology, content management, and usability and implement where applicable on the company web;
- Function in a help-desk system by interpreting and addressing user requests and troubleshooting users' technical and web-related problems;
- Analyzes the usage of company web media and interpret web impact on users and users' needs;
- Extends the reach of online resources through various media tools and making those available to staff, partners, and clients;
- Coordinate with service providers and IT technical team to ensure that web content does not encounter any technical problems.

Requirements


Requirements

- Bachelors degree a must
- Over 7 years experience
- The candidate must have capacity to create and manage text (in both English and Arabic) for web posting.
- Previous experience in the GCC is desirable.
