Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Monitoring and Updating Wiki/Website
- Manage website content and working with designer/agency to update as needed
- Integrate social media with website and mobile technologies
- Optimization of traffic to website and social media platforms
- Periodically monitor Wikipedia Arabic/English and update accordingly
- Periodically update information and co-ordinate with all relevant departments

Responsible for Social Media
- Establishing social media objectives and implementing CCD objectives
- Monitor the social web, any official/unofficial pages, blogs, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, etc
- Use of social media monitoring software for influencer identification, competitive analysis, and marketplace insights to support strategic recommendations
- Monitor online trends and suggest opportunities
- Assist with budget planning and help plan next years budget
- Develop and publish (share with staff) internal strategies for social media projects and technologies in addition to promoting social media activities internally
- Engage in social media activities/forums, YouTube, StumbleUpon, Delicious Digg, Reddit, Flickr, Forums, Twitter, Wikis, blogs, video sharing, online chats with approval from senior management
- Implement an effective social media function (Guideline and Policies)
- Recommend new social media tools, sites, and applications as part of the social media mix
- Coordinate online media outreach and viral campaigns with approval from senior management
- Identify key/targeted bloggers by industry and solution area

Oversee contracts and relationships with third party vendors, when needed

Develop Reports
- Track and monitor the success of online initiatives (ie. impressions, reach and influence) and provide reports for directors and executives
- Identify and report on digital/social media trends on PR
- Identify marketing leaders and bench mark work

Projects
- Creation of the Social Media Manual
- Measure Return on Investment (ROI) of social media

Requirements

- Minimum of 5 years experience in the field or similar field such as IT
- Has a minimum of a Bachelors degree and is fluent in English and Arabic
- Excellent communication skills especially with colleagues/ upper management
