Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Executing programmed and non-programmed rail welds NDT testing and inspection.
- Keep electronic and hard copy archive of all measurements and inspections.
- Keep all testing equipment calibrated and in proper adjustment for relevant testing.
- Advise all involved SAR stuff immediately if finding can pose danger to train operation.
- Safe works execution with trains operational.

A welding inspector ensures welding work is safe and ready to function. He shall also be experienced enough to detect any detected welds. Individuals applying for such a role are expected to be fully conversant with welding processes. Successful applicants need to be able to work with project quality engineers and follow specifications.

Requirements

- Excellent knowledge of materials testing.
- Hard worker.
- English very good written and spoken.
- Technical Diploma
