The RoleThe RoleWorking on the client site in Kuwait, this role is to work within a team undertaking a project requires data gathering of all Petro physical log data available in various repositories and loaded to corporate databases after being quality checked. The clients application being populated with a raw verified set of curves being the main project goal. Responsibilities and Duties - Identify all logs run in well using End of Well Reports, Completion logs, JPL Register, Off-site Storage Catalogue, CDA data store, LiveLink and Recall. - Collect the digital log data (tape), corresponding log images and required end of well reports. Build a logging summary sheet (inventory) and assigned correct images to tapes ensuring they are from the correct borehole - Identify missing digital data and place order for retrieving the tapes from off-site store or from partners. Read the tape data and load to CDA and Recall. - Identify missing log images / poor quality images and place order for retrieving films / prints from off-site storage or from partners and arrange for re-scanning. - Any missing data identified during verification and processing steps should be sourced. - For tapes and prints, if required, update the CDA index for few selected attributes (Title, JPL reference number etc.) for operated wells. - Load high value curves into the corporate database ensuring they verify with the corresponding log image. - Load pressure logs (RFT / MDT etc.) |
