Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Well Intervention Team Leader is responsible for Well interventions engineering activity covering the planning, program generation and execution of well interventions operations in accordance with BP Health Safety Security Environment and integrity management standards and DWOP Engineering practices (ETP and STP)/ SOPs as well as meeting regulatory compliance. The Well Intervention Team Leader will provide the interface with the Petroleum Engineers and other members of the multi disciplinary team necessary for efficient well intervention activities.

- Demonstrates a strong commitment to Health Safety Security Environment regulation in all activities

- Performs Well Intervention planning and generates programs

- Performs engineering and feasibility studies, cost evaluations, equipment and services evaluations in compliance with BP policy and procedures and all local and Ministry regulations

- Ensures operations comply with program and regulatory requirements

- Performs performance tracking and management to provide data for technical limits and for continuous improvement in operations

- Performs cost management to ensure projects completed on schedule and within budget.

- Interacts with contractors and service providers to ensure a high level of performance and technical integrity on activities.

- Perform post activity evaluation, knowledge management and transfer of best practices to embed lessons learnt in upcoming or future well intervention activities

Requirements

- A minimum Bachelor degree in relevant engineering discipline

- At minimum 12 years work experience in Well Intervention Engineering and Operations in various well conditions

- Have 5-10 years experience in engineering well intervention programs.
