Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

To implement Well Engineering and Intervention Division processes and wellwork operations in producing and injection wells operated by Qatargas OPCO to meet the company targets in the most cost-effective manner while maintaining the highest level of safety, environmental, and security compliance.
Required to work both Offshore and Onshore.
Guides production engineers in performing their duties.
Supports well emergencies. If required, on 24 hour call-out standby rotation to respond and to mobilize equipment and personnel to provide support to Field Operations during well emergencies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
Proficient in written and spoken English
Computer literacy (Excel and PowerPoint)
Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at several levels
Requires strong analytical, planning and organisational skills.

Minimum 7 years' experience in rig-less wellwork operations in the oil and/or gas industry, including at least 1-year of experience in rig-assisted wellwork operations, either offshore or land wells. Offshore experience is an advantage.
Knowledge and understanding of the following Well Engineering disciplines: Wellhead, Tree & Surface Equipment, Subsurface Equipment, Cased-hole and Production Logging, Wellbore Flow Assurance, Injection Well design, and tubular design.
Familiar with Well Integrity Management: Sustained Casing Pressure Management, Leak off testing and Wellhead Maintenance.
Familiar in Pressure Transient Analysis, Cased Hole Logging interpretation, Drilling, and Completions is an advantage.
