Job description / Role
* Verify the safety of well site operations (hazard ID, rigging, constraints, and so forth) and conduct daily well site walk around to check equipment rig-up and compliance with work permits and JSAs.
* Ensure that all safety tools, procedures, and processes are being utilized at the work site (JSA, Near Miss Observations, Incident Reporting, and so on).
* Take ownership of accident and incident reporting and provide support for higher level reporting to the Head of WellWork Operations.
* Ensure that regulatory required permits are in hand, and conditions can be met prior to performing wellwork operations that require permitting.
* Take an active role to lead, inspire, and motivate the wellwork on-site staff and wellwork support staff to achieve a safe and efficient operation in all areas.
* Compliance with SAP Purchase-to-Pay requirements (POs, materials and services receipt, invoice verifications and so forth).
Requirements
* Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
* Over 15 years of experience within the Oil & Gas sector
* Good inter-personal and inter-cultural skills and must understand engineering practices and protocol
