Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Discipline Capability is the collective capacity of the company to deliver agreed business goals aligned to Group strategy.

The Challenge (early development) and eXcellence (later development to senior position) Programme advisor working with HR resourcing; is responsible for recruiting high calibre technical personnel out of colleges/universities and their development into independent contributing members of Middle East region's Wells organization in accordance with global Wells standards.

Development and Recruitment

-Implementation and management of the global Wells Challenge development plan within ME Region.

-Assess technical, behavioural, HSE and leadership training needs for challenge Wells staff and establish appropriate programmes, include in-country and overseas training, workshops / learning forums, and webinars.

-Develop processes and provide implementation assurance for effective coaching of Wells technical staff.

-Manage formal development assessment processes in accordance with global wells standards.

-Establish and maintain a coaching program for all wells staff.

-Implementation of Wells summer internship programme within.

-Responsible for providing technical assessment (interviews) for graduate and summer intern recruitment for Wells organization.

-Work with HR to build and maintain relationships with appropriate local and international universities.

-Oversee developmental progress of Wells sponsored Azeri students on university scholarship programmes.

-Develop required and recommended training matrix for all staff under Challenge and eXellence program and provide assurance that staff has been trained accordingly.

-Knowledge management to ensure transfer of best technical development and recruitment best practices.

Standards and Compliance

-Ensure Code of Conduct awareness and implementation.

-Ensure compliance with local Operating Management System (OMS)

Requirements

-Degree in engineering.

-Demonstrated fluency and excellence in verbal and written English.

-10+ years of experience of well completion and/or drilling and/or well intervention activities as a practicing engineer in an international operating oil
