Employment: Full Time

My client is an international law firm that is present in 42 offices and 29 countries worldwide. Throughout their proud 80-year history, they have developed a creative, independent thinking within a collaborative culture. As a result, their lawyers are involved in many of the most influential commercial ventures and are known for providing clients with pioneering solutions to the toughest legal challenges. My client remains a leader within their scope of work.

They are currently seeking a Western educated Legal Professional Assistant to support 1 partner and a couple of Associates within the Banking Department of a high performing team. The main purpose of this role will be to will provide an efficient, client focused, professional legal administrative service to fee earners by ensuring they have the appropriate administrative support for all aspects of their work activities. The role will also involve:

- Extensive diary management such as arranging departmental meetings, booking appointments and arranging meetings rooms, client lunches and organising travel arrangements
- Handling all correspondence, such as telephone screening and managing faxes, emails and post
- Creating and managing an effective administrative filing system
- Updating and maintaining our client contact database
- Preparing document proposals, presentations and any other legal documentation (including audio typing)
- Managing expense claims and liaising with revenue controllers to assist with the billing process
- Providing administrative support across the team whenever needed

Requirements

My client is seeking a highly presentable candidate. Exceptional administrative skills are an absolute must, as well as advanced knowledge in the use of all MS Office applications.

The successful candidate will also have outstanding communication skills in English and possess previous working experience within a legal environment and within a client services role.

Ideally, candidates will be well presented, switched on, flexible, proactive and enthusiastic when working as a team. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure will be highly advantageous to this position.
