The RoleThe RoleWith an excellent reputation for managing international fashion, cosmetics & accessories brands, this regional distribution & retail company has exclusive rights to manage the wholesale of these brands into other retail customers. As part of their continued international success they are now seeking to further penetrate the wholesale marketplace here in the GCC and now seeking to create a new role of Wholesale Account Manager to lead this growing channel. Your role will be based in Dubai but may require travel within the GCC & Europe. Key Responsibilities: • Build on existing and new key retail accounts throughout the GCC through effective business development activities and client relationship management • Reporting to the General Manager and meeting your agreed sales & revenue targets • Develop a trade marketing plan tailored to each account and new business opportunity • Negotiation of terms of sale, credit terms, returns, margins & volume • Be responsible as a point of contact for the retail customer regarding any product / merchandise related issues • Working with the international brand principal head offices on stock ordering, allocation & logistics • Be aware and sound understanding of competitor analysis and distribution |
RequirementsRequirementsExperience Required: • A minimum of 4 years experience in a distribution / wholesale account manager role in the consumer goods sector (fashion, cosmetics etc) • Strong business development management experience with ability to develop and achieve budgets & targets • Excellent relationship building skills with customers & suppliers • Strong negotiation skills in building relationships and effectively closing the deal for a win / win outcome • Solid computer skills with particular knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) products & retail merchandising systems & POS etc. • Excellent presentation and communication skills |
