A leading regional retail group is looking for a highly driven and logical thinking Wholesale Manager to join the team in taking forward there brands across the gulf region.

The candidate will be proactive in establishing contact with potential customers and researching new distributers. The Wholesale Manager must define targets with company directors and ensure targets are achieved by the wholesale team. The successful candidate is responsible for delivering the required information and material to clients as well as conducting campaigns and other marketing tools to increase sales.

The Wholesale Manager is in charge of duties, such as customer relationship management, contract negotiation, payments, deliveries and reporting. All data, reporting, and feedback from clients are managed by the Wholesale Manager who must provide routine reports to the company directors.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for day-to-day management of the Wholesale department and daily activity

• Define and lead the wholesale sales strategy to sustain business growth

• Set seasonal targets with company directors

• Maximise wholesale accounts per season in key markets

• Assist buyers with a suitable selection of product which best represents the brand

• Raise purchase orders and negotiate payment terms

• Negotiate terms of contracts with customers

• Maintain and build upon relationships with buyers

• Realize forecast for all collections, establish budgets and conduct sales analysis

• Monitor interdepartmental strategy

• Work with marketing team to establish marketing campaigns and tools to increase sales

• Improve management of information and reporting

• Conduct market research and monitor competitor activity

• Analyse sales and achievements on a regular basis to assess staff and company performance and develop strategy accordingly

• Assess and ensure customer satisfaction

• Monitor team performance and motivate them to achieve targets

Candidate Requirements:

• Excellent communicator in both English and Arabic.

• Able to work under pressure while handling several different jobs.

• Good IT skills

• Experience in team management

• Proven track record of managing wholesale accounts in a fashion environment – 5 years’ experience

• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand customers’ business needs

• Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills

• Persuasive, organised, energetic and
motivating

• Team player

• Interest in fashion and sporting industries
