Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with an E&I specific engineering consultancy that focuses in the Oil & Gas market. They are looking for a SCADA Engineer to join their growing engineering team in Dubai.
You will carry out SCADA System design, program development, testing and site commissioning work and develop technical documents for products and systems. This includes Functional Requirements, Design Documents, Test Procedures, User Manuals and Training Manuals.
You should have advance knowledge of ArchestrA Scripts, Redundant Historians, Trend Clients, Security Setup, Change Control and Propagation, Galaxy features as well as on Industrial WAN equipment selection and configuration. You should also have proven experience in SQL & Oracle Database handling and good knowledge on RTU hardware and software engineering. In addition you should be able to understand P&ID, Schematics & Control System Architectures alongside advance knowledge of Industrial Communication Protocols.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have a Degree in Instrument Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent. You should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience with at least 3 years working on (Wonderware ArchestrA / Application Server) SCADA Systems. It is essential you have excellent communication skills.
