Job description / Role
A leading company in the industry of designing and manufacturing pumps and anciallary equipment for the upstream and downstream oil and gas markets are looking for a Workpack Engineer in Basra, Iraq.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining work standard and quality standards for rotating equipment maintenance project.
Produce work pack manuals in respect to the rotating equipment maintnenace project:
1. Prepare full detailed description of the work required to be carried out from a given scope of work and specifications provided by customer and internal documents available for gas turbines, pumps, motors, piping, and auxiliary units.
2. Packs to include all site activities that need to be considered before overhauling, during overhauling, installation, inspection, site testing and commissioning and any specialists vendors works etc.
3. Prepare method statements, job cards with hours covering all jobs and personnel employed for the tasks, risk assessments, and final acceptance sheets.
4. Coordinate internally with the Project Manager with review and approval for work packs and liaison with client for commencing work.
Responsible for quality control of all work carried out on rotating equipment.
Requirements
Degree or diploma required in relevant subject.
Experience of 10 years minimum with 5 years from oil and gas plants.
Salary: AED 14,500
