Workshop Controller - Talent Pool - Al Futtaim Automotive - UAE

We are currently building our talent pool of experienced Workshop Controlleracross UAE. This vacancy is specifically looking after all the Workshop Controllerrole across all automotive brands such as Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Hino, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Volvo Ram, Automall and Al Futtaim Auto Centre (ALAC). Location varies across the UAE (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, & Northern Emirates) depending on your preference and the need of the business.

The purpose of this role is tocontrol job flow to appropriately skilled technicians maximizing on time completion, testing washing and minimizing down time while ensuring all resources used are posted to the job card.

Specifically, your job responsibilities are as follows:
* Ensure the Appointment distribution to the concern service advisors
* Ensure to update Job progress control board on daily basis
* Ensure to allocate the jobs to the appropriate productive
* Ensure the take time and lead time of each and every repair
* Ensure to prepare the daily/weekly/monthly reports and distribute to the concerned personnel
* Ensure to update the technician's productivity on daily basis
* Coordinate with all the relevant departments for the appointments, appointment confirmations & other operational matters
* Ensure that workshop policies and procedures are being followed

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:
* Must have a Diploma/Degree in a Mechanical field
* Must have 3-4 years of working experience as a Workshop Controller
* Must be able to multi-task and properly delegate
* Must have exceptional organizational skills
* Must have exceptional time management skills
* Must be proficient in MS Office
* Capable of using ERP system to generate management and daily /monthly workshop reports
* SAP user skills are an advantage and highly preferred
