FAMCO is an ISO 9001:2008 & ISO 14001:2004 certified company.We are looking to recruit a Workshop Foreman - Power Generation Products to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The workshop foreman will be responsible for ensuring all repairs and maintenance of all Prime and Standby power generators from 2.2KVA to 2800KVA in the Abu Dhabi market and where the FAMCO has businessKey functors and accountabilities of this role include; * Directing the repai'sr and installation of prime and standby power generators including all electrical related equipment distribution banks, transformers, switchboards etc. Monitor these to ensure a  safe and reliable work environment.* Implement effective equipment maintenance procedures as per relevant rules, regulations and industry best practices so as to facilitate maximum reliability, availability and safety.* Provide technical expertise to the repair team to ensure that all generator equipment sold and installed meets with customer, contractor, consultant or project requirements and necessary standards on electrical requirements.* Remain abreast with latest regulations, standards and good working practices within the industry in relation to electrical repair work on generator equipment.* Allocation of jobs appropriate to the service personnel keeping in view the  nature of repairs and mechanical abilities.* Liaisoning with parts department to ensure timely availability of parts for repair works and reports discrepancies on parts and machinery to enable corrective action if required. |
RequirementsRequirementsThe selected candidate will have the following skills and qualifications and; * Higher National Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering. * 5 years post certificate experience in oil/gas industry. * Alternatively an electrical apprenticeship with 10 to 15 years experience in a similar industry.* 5 years experience in a senior electrical master a technician's position* Customer focused: Self starter.* Generator product knowledge.* A good level of communication skills |
