Employment: Full Time

Workshop Helper - FAMCO - Madinah, Saudi Arabia

To carry out effective and efficient routine maintenance and basic repairs on vehicles, machinery and equipment, assisting in mechanical and electrical jobs as recommended by workshop manager and or foreman thereby providing complete customer satisfaction with due regard to relevant quality and safety standards.

Key Activities:
- Perform basic servicing and routine maintenance and identify any additional jobs required in conjunction with the technician ; foreman & workshop manager. Keep the workshop neat clean & tidy as per our core values. Provide Clean Bays keep oil trays clean; wash & dewax equipments; control oil spills and generally keep the workshop in the dealer operating standards.
- Perform basic hydraulic jobs & PDIs. Keep all parts clean while rebuilds and overhauls.
- Perform basic electrical jobs keep the tech tools etc in proper operational conditions.
- Undertake computer based Self Learning and Instructor led training for product awareness.
- Locate and use Service Documentation and Manuals.
- Operate lifts, tools and related workshop equipment. Tag replacement parts & store them properly for retrieval during warranty audits. Check all air & oil lines in the workshop; arrange tools; operate forklifts generally keep workshop operate without any unwanted stoppages. Report all incidents to the foreman and workshop manager.
- Drive equipment /vehicles safely inside workshop and yard follow workshop health & safety, ISO regulations and company policy and procedures.
- Assist in Performing Administrative Activities - Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork for and as advised by supervisors.

Requirements

- High School passed / Graduate or Undergraduate in Science. Good mechanical aptitude.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in service with reputed heavy equipment dealerships preferably in GCC countries. Saudi nationals preferred.
- Working Knowledge of Arabic and English is a must.

Job-Specific Skills:
- Understanding of basic Electrical principles and systems.
- Understanding of basic Hydraulic Principles and systems
- Computer Literacy / Basic Understanding of Service Manuals on the computer systems.
- Understanding of basic Diesel Engine principles.
- Understanding of basic Warranty principles
- Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Must have a good knowledge of the English & Arabic languages.
- Basic Computer skills
- The Job requires a young and physically strong and active person who is able to carry load. Work hard in the workshop and in the field etc.,
- Ability to drive forklifts and equipment an advantage.
- Good mechanical aptitude required.
