Job description / Role
We are looking for Workshop Manager to work for a western main contractor in Jazan, Saudi Arabia.
Job Role:
- You are responsible for the overall maintenance and repair of our civil construction plant (trucks, batching plants, wheel loaders, tower cranes etc.) and you manage all the technical aspects related to that equipment
- You assist the project leader by managing the team of technicians dedicated to the project in order to perform the overall maintenance of the plant operated on the construction site or in the central workshop
- You respect the planning of the project leader and ensures a consistent quality for all technical documents
- You plan, assign and review the work of all technicians
- You ensure that a high level of safety standards for all activities related to the workshop and technical interventions on site is set up and is strictly followed
- You are responsible for the ordering all the needed tools and parted necessary for the correct and in-time handling of maintenance and handling
- You report correctly and complete to the construction manager and the plant manager
Requirements
- You have a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or in automobile engineering
- You have at least 8 years of experience in a similar function, preferably in an overseas work environment
- You are fluent in English, French an asset
- Must have international experience
- Must have experience in Foundation machinery or batching plant machines
