FAMCO is an ISO 9001:2008 & ISO 14001:2004 certified company.We are looking to recruit a Workshop Supervisor to join our FAMCO team in Saudi Arabia. The Workshop Supervisor is responsible to ensure that maintenance and repair works on public on all types of equipment, both on site and in the workshop, are done in the accordance with the prescribed standards and specifications in order to ensure customer satisfaction and achievement of the departmental objectives. Accountability of this role will include; * Assisting the Workshop Manager in maintaining the workshop. ensuring proper handling of materials and allocation of jobs to appropriate service personnel.* Oversee the service and repair works of all jobs to ensure conformity to standard specifications and quality of service. * Allocating jobs to appropriate service personnel keeping in view the nature of repairs and the mechanical specifications to ensure proper quality of repair.* Ensure the repairs are conducted in accordance with the product specifications and within the standard prescribed time enabling customer satisfaction. Visits customers on site and handles emergency breakdowns when required.* Liaison with Parts Department to ensure a timely availability of parts for repair works to take place within the prescribed time frame and appropriately tags parts received for warranty for the departments concerned.* Prepares quotations and final costs for all repair works and reports discrepancies on parts and machinery to the Workshop Manager to enable corrective action if required.* Maintains the workshop to ensure safety standards are adhered to and all service tools and equipment are stored in an appropriate and safe manner.* Ensure all workshop systems and procedures like invoicing, warranty, cost estimation etc are supported with appropriate paperwork and forward to the concerned department for processing * Provides guidance and training to personal to foster a productive and effective team. |
RequirementsRequirementsSuitable candidates will have the following skills and qualifications;* Qualified Mechanic or sufficient relevant technical awareness of vehicle systems.* Knowledge of spoken Arabic will be advantageous.* Fluency in spoken & written english.* Operating knowledge of computers.* Be familiar and have worked to ISO9001 standards* Customer care and basics of automobile service and repairs* 5 years in the workshop/service department of a major manufacturer's franchise, both hands on and in a supervisory role.* The candidate should have good sense of responsibility and high level of interpersonal as well as leadership skills. Must have a degree of maturity, excellent organizational skills, forward thinking, culturally aware and positive. |
