Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We are currently representing an industrial steel company looking for a Yard Manager to be based in Kazakhstan. This is a new and fantastic opportunity, with an aggressively expanding company, and the opportunity to build your own team.

Yard Manager responsibilities:
• Contributing to defining strategies for yard space, utilization and equipment allocation
• Ensuring yard operations are managed in accordance with terminal policies and procedures, legislative policy and customer requirements
• Ensures that the yard is fully operational as by daily schedules, materials availability, project management, department and client interface, adherence to HSE requirements
• Responsible for maintaining relationships with the client, organizing meetings and inspection schedules, quality and delivery, and capacity planning
• Keeping the yards free of accidents, organizing safety related meetings with the HSE manager and maintaining the “zero accident” level
• Ensuring machinery is always highly availability; developing breakdown maintenance and planned maintenance schedules
• Developing sound production planning to support the client

Yard Manager requirements:
• Experience in the Oil and Gas industry
• Russian and English speaking is crucial
• 5 years+ in yard management
• Extensive HSE understanding
