- Freight Forwarding and Customs Clearance
- Warehousing and Contract Logistics
- Goods Transportation and Distribution
- People Transportation.

We are currently looking to recruit a Yard Marshall to work from Dubai based operations. You will be responsible for ensuring a smooth process flow within the Al-Futtaim Logistics Yards.

Your main duties will include the following:
- Yard inspections, with focus on damage, health & safety & fire prevention
- Reporting Auti unit Team leaders, driver work and personal behaviour by observation.
- Training and coaching based on observations enabling positive change and reduction in accidents, damages by the team.
- Regular Fleet & Driver checks, with a goal to improve overall quality and perception of our fleet to our customers.
- Responsible for teams non-conformance, report and corrective actions. such as tie down, line ups, parking in locations, Unauthorized use of boosters and chargers, non-delivery units in RCA, Smoking in yard, Messing interior of the vehicles etc.
- Co-ordination with Transport Planners to enforce delivery plan with maximum efficiency in a timely manner
- Ensure correct and smooth process flow within Auto Units Yards, preventing unnecessary accidents and damage
- Conduct exterior vehicle inspection on any Return Unit, Sign DO and confirm to VCC staff for updating.
- Carry out regular QC Toolbox Training with both LV & HV Drivers to maintain a high standard of vehicle handling.

Requirements

- Must have at least 2 years within a similar role (ie Security or Armed Forces)
- Having a valid UAE Driving License is an added advantage
- Must have good interpersonal and communication skills
- Must have a very strong personality and can direct with authority.
- Previous Military, Police or Head of Security background would be ideal.
- Must be able to work unsupervised and have the ability to use your own initiative.
- MS Office an advantage, but not essential
