Employment: Full Time

My client is one of the first luxury dept store concepts with exclusive international luxury brands in Dubai

Reporting to the CEO, the will develop and execute a digital vision and strategy to enable the eCommerce business to reach its full potential in sales and profits, and offering our customers a unique and rich experience online, while embodying the essence of our brand in the Middle East. You will be line managing 18 reports and be a key stakeholder for the business.

A summary of Responsibilities as follows:

Ensure the new ecommerce site and operations are integrated across the business in order to maximize the benefits we expect to see by bringing ecommerce in-house
Manage the P&L for the ecommerce business, and overall accountability for leading the merchandising, operations, strategic planning, marketing, sales and profitability of this important sales channel
Prepare and analyze ecommerce key performance indicators to deliver insight recommendations to the management team and other functional leaders
Oversee relationships with all internal and external stakeholders (e.g., technology platform, fulfillment, customer service, email service provider, site analytics) ensuring day-to-day operations meet established service level agreements
Enhance the customer online experience and deepen their relationship with the brand through online tracking and analysis of site behavior via market analysis, competitive analysis and site analytics
Develop, manage and optimize our online marketing programs with a focus on customer acquisition, conversion & retention. Lead all activities including email, affiliates, SEO, SEM & CRM. Monitor performance against plans adjusting media mix as appropriate
Serve as a visionary and catalyst relative to industry developments relating to ecommerce trends and new technologies to ensure we maintain a competitive edge, delivering positive customer experiences
Partner extensively throughout the organization (e.g., Creative, Merchandising, Planning, Retail) to develop and support omni-channel customer strategies that lead to increased market share across all product lines and customer segments
Escalate the use of social and mobile media to enhance the customer experience

Requirements

-Bachelors and/or Masters degree required
-Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in an e-commerce leadership role
-Experience in the fashion industry
-Experience with managing a P&L and its performance against budget and achieving ambitious growth targets
-Experience in developing and executing an ecommerce strategy to support a direct-to-consumer channel
-Profound understanding of best practices relative to delivering a positive customer experience online
-Exceptional knowledge of web analytics, usability studies, email marketing, paid search, search engine optimization, social, mobile and other critical online marketing tools and techniques
-Experience implementing ecommerce solutions and online marketing strategies that have brought a brand to life online and resulted in significant and sustained profitable growth
-Experience with using mobile and tablet devices to drive online sales would be advantageous
