Employment: Full Time

eCommerce is an exciting new support function within Alshaya as the business launches transactional websites for a number of the 70+ brands and 19 countries within the Alshaya portfolio. The function is rapidly building Alshaya's multi-channel capability to deliver customers' choice and convenience when shopping in a number of rapidly growing online emerging markets. The function is split in to 4 key areas - Trading & Merchandising, Operations & Program Management, Design & Content and Digital Marketing.

The Role:
Working within Central eCommerce at M.H. Alshaya, you will be a part of the Search Engine Optimisation team to support in ensuring all eCommerce websites are fully optimised, as well as assist in implementing SEO strategies. In addition to daily tasks, you will maintain communication with the online brand teams in order to ensure that SEO best practice is constantly applied to our websites.

Requirements:
* Support in development and implementation of SEO strategies
* SEO research and analysis
* Support brand teams
* Responsible for working to strict timelines
* Create and maintain excellent internal and external working relationships.

Requirements

* Educated to university degree level (preferably in English, Communications or Marketing)
* Basic knowledge of SEO best practice
* Knowledge of CMS systems is a plus (preferably Magento)
* Previous work with Google Analytics
* Previous experience working within an ecommerce business support function (or within online shopping/retail) is an advantage.
