Employment: Full Time

An opportunity with a successful telecom business in the Middle East

Reporting to the Head of E-Commerce, you will be working closely with designers, engineers and testing teams to build and launch web products. The role is very entrepreneurial where the selected candidate will drive all elements of the product development from building functional specifications, to design briefs and project plans to working with external vendors and marketing agencies.

Main responsibilities in the role:
- Lead idea development, technical development in order to launch innovative products.
- Drive product development and new features with internal and external teams.
- Gather product requirements from different stakeholders and synthesize them to develop a coherent product specification and then support product implementation and deployment.
- Perform competitor analysis and educate the team on global trends.
- Define revenue models and projections for the products and build features to increase conversions.
- Experience in managing long term digital projects and handling multiple stakeholders.
- Understand and consider competitive landscape and target markets in product strategies and messaging.
- Understand the company's overall vision and deliver products that are best in class - run experiments and make data-driven decisions about product direction and features to grow the user base.
- Define and analyze metrics that define success for projects. Track these metrics and report on them on a continual basis.
- End to end responsibility for delivering assigned projects on planned timelines and costs.
- Own all lines of communication across the organization.
- Understand user behavior on products through heavy use of analytical tools especially Google analytics.
- Ready to work heavily across cross-functional teams in a very fast paced environment interact with marketing, brand management, operations, logistics, customer service and finance teams.

Requirements

- 5-8 years of experience in eCommerce project management roles, preferably B2C.
- Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance/Engineering.
- Deep understanding of eCommerce website development, launching products and running product operations.
- Basic understanding of technical aspects of the web, large scale web applications and passion to learn about new technology trends quickly and apply them as needed.
- Excellent working knowledge and understanding of all key aspects of an eCommerce ecosystem.

Desirable:
- Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with external customer interaction.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly.
- Experience in ecommerce project/ product management is a big plus.
- Deep understanding of the eCommerce business models and exposure to agile development methodologies.
