The Role

The Company:
Our client is a leading provider of Supply Management Excellence, delivered through software, professional services and category expertise, with a mission to generate value by supporting its clients in the improvement of procurement processes.

General Overview:
Reporting to the company's account directors, the eSourcing consultant demonstrates and good understanding of the procurement process, with particular reference to eSourcing and eAuctions.
The eSourcing consultant is responsible for client account contact and project delivery. The eSourcing consultant will be responsible for project support for the implementation and maintenance of company's eSourcing toolkit.

Main Responsibilities:
Develop excellent client relationships with existing clients, demonstrating a full understanding of their business needs.
Develop strong client relationships along with an ability to easily convey the use of the company's service offering.
Present the company's offering through various different media, to include for example PowerPoint presentations, product demonstrations, sales proposals and specification documents.
Attend industry conferences and networking events to promote the company.
Demonstrate first class communication skills, both verbal and written, and offer persuasive and convincing business case arguments at all times.
Demonstrate an excellent ability to ‘close the sale’.
Analyze and fully understand the client’s procurement procedures to identify where the company offerings can be best implemented. The eSourcing consultant will possess experience of:
Supplier sourcing and analysis
Request for quotations
Full eSourcing solutions
eAuction delivery.
Be available to train and support users on the use of the companies sourcing tools.
Make recommendations to clients on ways in which their sourcing process can be made more efficient and cost effective.
Support the client through full implementation of the company's offering, being ready to give advice and support at every stage.
Document your progress with each client at every stage of the sales and delivery process.
Continuously strive to ‘up sell’ clients to increase their usage of the companies services.
Demonstrate detailed knowledge of the companies services

- Supplier sourcing and analysis
- Request for quotations
- Full eSourcing solutions
- eAuction delivery
- Spend Analysis
Optimization.
Make recommendations to clients on ways in which their sourcing process can be made more efficient and cost effective.
Support the client through full implementation of the company's offering, being ready to give advice and support at every stage.
Document your progress with each client at every stage of the sales and delivery process.
Continuously strive to ‘up sell’ clients to increase their usage of the company's services.
Demonstrate detailed knowledge of the company's services.
Through excellent communication, demonstrate exemplary management skills in assisting junior members of the team in developing their own professional skills, in order to better support all senior account managers across the organization.
Attend industry conferences and networking events to maintain continuously up to date industry sector knowledge.
Be an industry thought leader.

Requirements

Required Experience:
8+ years Sourcing / Spend Analysis sales and project delivery experience
Proven sales and delivery track record
People management experience
Experience in a project based environment
Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills.
