The RoleThe RoleAssists in preparing engineering studies of a specialized and complex nature based on technical and economic feasibility evaluations, and related to petroleum reservoir control, drilling and workover operations, oil and gas production. Acts as a consultant in fields in which incumbent has special Plans and recommends new and improved methods, procedures and techniques to assist in the ' development of more efficient and effective engineering practices. • Plans and recommends procedures and methods for obtaining engineering data. • Reviews outside consultant's studies and prepares recommendations for further work where applicable. • When required, supervises other engineers when conducting special studies. • Occasionally supervises Divisional activity in the absence of the Division Head. • When necessary, discusses with NOe personnel non-routine matters, particularly on highly technical and complex subjects |
RequirementsRequirementsBachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (preferably petroleum) and minimum of thirteen to fourteen years experience in Production & Workover Engineering or related fields. The mandate of Zueitina Oil Company is to efficiently produce Crude Oil, Natural Gas and Condensates at a minimum cost, with an optimum recovery, and with a great emphasis being placed on environmental and reservoir protection. The Company is currently handling up to 20% of the country's Oil and Condensate exports.
