The Role


The Customer Services Manager based in Egypt will be responsible for all customer service issues including documentation, communication and system updates. The Customer Service Manager must support and back up the Ocean Manager in all aspects related to the ocean freight activity, including planning, reporting, hiring, coaching and motivating the team. You will be responsible for managing and leading the customer services team and ensuring that clients needs are catered for. You will coach and motivate the customer services team to collectively perform over and above the targets set for them and coordinate with other departments. You will ensure that your skills and those of your staff are continuously improved. Head up all data quality and product delivery initiatives and actively contribute to the improvement of same - either directly or through staff managed by you. You will manage file closing and support the budget process for the Ocean team.

The ideal candidate will build a strong team by retaining talent and managing, coaching, mentoring and supporting direct reports. You will recommend remuneration, promotions, and dismissals within the customer service team.
