Our client are pioneers in the development and operation of large, commercially-operated free zones around the world and they now seek an experienced Project Manager to take the in-country lead for the activities of the organisation in Romania.
The main purpose of this role is to develop the organisation's plan further and deliver on the vision and ambitions of the company. As the head of the country business unit, you will assume overall charge and control of all developments, processes and management issues.
Responsibilities:
• Develop & implement the company's local strategy with timeliness & contribute strongly to the overall organisational goals
• To recruit, train and develop a Management Team capable of effectively managing the ambitions of the company.
• Establish strong relationships with all related and interested organisations where synergies exist for the exploitation of growth.
• Actively manage the operating budget and business plan and proactively engage with senior management
• Travel extensively to attract and investigate new business opportunities and closely monitor all leads, prospects and proposals

Requirements
Requirements
• Minimum 5 years relevant senior management experience preferably in the international trade and logistics industry; UAE experience ideal
• Highly developed project management skills and a strong understanding of financial and legal functions
• Demonstrable experience in managing and motivating staff & successfully establishing strong relationships with clients
• Well developed management, leadership & planning skills
• Excellent communicator and negotiator with an aggressive approach to achieving objectives
• Romanian & English language skills a must
