Accounts Manager

Job description / Role

Our company is one of the leading jewelery businesses in the United Arab Emirates, having been based here for over 25 years. The company specializes in retailing, wholesaling and distributing branded jewellery including the Mikura Pearls brand.


We are looking for an accountant with minimum 4-5 years of experience for an Accounts Manager position. Experience in the jewellery industry is not required, but we are looking for a motivated and positive individual. Significant growth opportunities exist as the company is in the midst of expansion.

Job Description

1. Support management team by providing quality financial analysis and MIS reports
2. Full responsibility for all accounting entries
3. Preparation of cash flow forecasts
4. Supervision and assistance of junior team members
5. Monthly Trial balance/P&L Statements
6. Assisting & providing all data for external auditors and finalizing yearly financial statements

Requirements

University qualifications : BBA, MBA
Other certifications : CA beneficial but not required.
Previous experience : Minimum 4-5 years of experience, with at least 2 years at a senior level.
Other Skills : Strong Analytical skills, attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Able to motivate and lead a team.
Ability to innovate and excellent communication skills including fluency in English.
High levels of computer competency and knowledge of Accounting software is a must.
