The RoleThe RoleOur client a progressive and successful company, based in India, within the construction products manufacturing industry is seeking an experience and result focused GENERAL MANAGER. To qualify for this challenging role the candidate will be responsible for the following responsibilities with a focus to continuous achievement. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Preparation of Business plan. Strategize the overall operation to ensure optional profitability. Responsible for the production, performance and maintenance of plants Handle marketing, distribution & sales, procurement, finance, human resources and all other related activities. Preparation of yearly budgets. Develop a multi-cultural team, whilst ensuring their ongoing development |
RequirementsRequirementsESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS • Ten to twelve years experience, at least five of which will have been in a senior management position • Hold a degree qualification in a relevant discipline such as engineering or in business management. • Possess strong technical ability coupled with commercial aptitude and general management skills • Preferably have experience in a start-up venture that has grown to be a company of significant size and worth. |
