The RoleThe RoleOur client a progressive and successful company, based in India, within the construction products manufacturing industry is seeking an experience and result focused FINANCIAL CONTROLLER. The Company produces materials for the construction sector and therefore experience in that area would be preferred. To qualify for this challenging role the candidate will be responsible for the following responsibilities: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Prepare monthly financial reports for the General Manager • Carry out Financial Reviews • Ensure all tax requirements are met on a timely basis • Manage relationships with principals and supervise other finance staff • Co-ordinate with the General Manager for various compliances and assist them in their requirements • Review of business processes periodically to comply with the local government requirements • Assist GM in the development of business plans for new ventures |
RequirementsRequirementsESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS - Hold a professional qualification in Finance (CPA, CA, CIMA) - Minimum 10 years experience in a supervisory/managerial post. - Advanced IT skills (Excel) - Excellent interpersonal skills, a strong sense of commitment, and superior team-leading abilities. - Proven hands-on attitude in meeting deadlines with a clear focus on priorities. Experience in construction related field would be an advantage. - Excellent command of written & spoken English |
