The Role


The Role

My client is a leading design-build contractor for the provision of engineering services in remote and austere environments.
They undertake all civil, structural, electrical and mechanical engineering projects.
They are licensed in the USA and is based globally in Australia, Afghanistan and UAE.
They are currently looking for a Project Controller to join their team in Kandahar (Afghanistan).
You will work directly under the Project Manager, assisting in coming up with material lists, procurement and project management.
This position is based in the military base, it is extremely safe and has a community feel to it. The area is equipped with fast food joints, restaurants and cinema etc..
By being part of the team, you will be paid a tax free salary, 30% tax free bonus on your annual income per year, 2 return tickets home per year, free accommodation and food and medical insurance.

Requirements


Requirements

The ideal candidate should come from a project/ construction management background of at least 2 years experience.
You may have a Civil Engineering degree or equivalent in the field of construction and project management.
You should be well versed in your PC skills- MS Project is a must!
Ideal candidate would come form the military background as they will more familiar in the setting and working in harsh environment.
