The Role
The Role
Our client, a leading wholesale bank, is looking for a Team Leader to join their Group Audit team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will report to the Group Chief Auditor and has to carry out an ongoing process of audits and review of the bank's branches, subsidiaries and affiliates both in Bahrain and in the overseas units.
Responsibilities:
• To evaluate the extent of compliance with established policies, procedures and control guidelines.
• Assess accuracy, timeliness and adequacy of financial reporting to Head Office and to local and regulatory authorities.
• Centralized reporting of local audit functions worldwide and be the first point of contact in Group Audit at Head Office.
• Review the performance of the bank's units, in particular the reasonableness of budget assumptions and business strategies.
• Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes in each operating area.

• Post graduate degree in Finance / Business.
• At least 10 years of Banking experience specializing in credit and lending with specific skills in problem recognition, Treasury including Derivatives and pricing, Securities, Operations and remedial management.
