The RoleThe RoleThe role of this position is to liaise with senior level Government officials and agencies on behalf of National, manage a team of operations specialists and base support staff to manage NAC stations located in Iraq. The role would encompass to: Coordinate /Monitor all incoming and out going freight * Perform actual deliveries of cargo when required * Locate and coordinate High Priority or sensitive shipments for pick up and delivery. * Maintain safety procedures on they flight line and when handling mechanical handling equipment * Liaison with Airfield Management and all relevant authorities on base as and when necessary. * Perform escort duties for visiting aircrew and local nationals/contractors * Maintain all NAC facilities for cleanliness and presentation * Conduct daily servicing of NAC vehicles * Conduct data entry for proof of delivery and shipment pre alerts. |
RequirementsRequirementsExperience in freight transporting * Typing skills and Internet knowledge required. * Exposure to shipping software desired. * Knowledge of Microsoft Office product a plus. Desirable: Liaison role with Government agencies. |
