The Role


With more than 15.000 employees and 1.500 stores, the Alshaya Group is spearheading the expansion of more than 43 world-class leading retail brands such as Debenhams, Starbucks, Mac, The Body Shop, H&M, Boots etc. in 16 countries, expanding fast on a daily basis across the Middle East, North Africa, Eastern Europe and Russia. To enable its aggressive expansion plan, the company is currently looking for Business Directors - Fashion & Footwear, Health & Beauty, Casual Dining, Office Supply etc. with great passion for international retailing. Reporting to their respective Vice-Presidents, the retained candidates will be given the mandate to successfully develop one or several Top Brands within a rapidly expanding multi-country network of retail stores.

Requirements


Requirements


10-15 years of experience in Retail, including 5 years minimum in Senior Management Positions
Track Record of major Business Developments of retail networks
Strong leader, with track record of delivering success through others
Ability to successfully develop complex portfolios of brands internationally
Directorship experience of Large Retail Stores Networks
Preferred industries: Cosmetics, Health & Beauty, Luxury Goods, High End FMCG, Fashion Wear
Preferred groups: Fortune 500 companies, Top Global Cosmetic Groups, Major Multi-Franchise Global Operations
Preferred multi-county regional expertise: Middle East, Europe (Western & Eastern), Asia (including China), Oceania, USA, India
Proven large full P&L/multi-P&L management expertise required In his/her 40s
