The Role
* Install and configure WebSphere Application Server, WMQ, and other J2EE software products and fixes on Linux/Windows/UNIX platforms.
* Involved with Application design, deploying code, and resolving any infrastructure problems.
* Executes performance tuning of WebSphere Application server and IBM HTTP server for optimal performance based on user load.
* Performs server clustering for load balancing and failover.
* Monitors performance and provides ongoing configuration and tuning adjustments.
* Builds scripts for task automation, builds support, scheduling, and file clean up.
* Configures connections to external data sources.

Requirements
Requirements
* Experience or in-depth knowledge of J2EE framework and applications with at least 2 years of experience in Middleware products such as WebSphere Application Server and MQ.
* At least 1 year of experience working with Java.
* Basic knowledge of network protocols and applications such as TCP/IP and HTTP.
* Good troubleshooting skills are a must and a college degree is required.
* The ability and flexibility to support and manage dynamic 7 X 24 Production Web Environment as well as the other testing environments.
