The Role
The Role
Aconex is a dynamic international company providing web-based services to the construction, engineering and facilities management industries. With over US$65b in projects using our system, we are one of the world's leading providers of collaboration technology to this market.
Your responsibilities will include:
•Managing a team of sales staff, ensuring the team meets revenue targets
•Coach train and mentor sales staff
•Provide regular feedback on a formal and informal basis in regard to performance of team members
•Encourage and assist with strategic account planning for the Team
•Monitor sales territories, ensuring sales team works together to meet agreed targets
•Attend key meetings with major and potential clients as required by the team
•Assist the team with key negotiations
•Attend and participate in sales meetings, product seminars and trade shows.
You will have an understanding of the businesses within the assigned territory and the factors that influence spending patterns. With an excellent knowledge of Aconex's products, including their demonstration, pricing and administration procedures, you will also be conversant with competitor's products, in terms of positioning, features, benefits, pricing and account acquisition strategies.
Working closely with the customer service team in the region, you will encourage open communication with the team and other Aconex Departments. As a representative of the company you will ensure that the organisation's ethics and standards are maintained at all times, both through self discipline and as an example to team members.
You will be required to participate in training programs, internal product demonstrations, updating technical knowledge and continuing personal development.

Requirements
Requirements
Essential to this role is the co-ordination of the associated financial reporting and the maintenance of accurate data on personal and corporate databases, including proposal register and CRM. You will show longevity in previous Business Development roles, and be self-motivated and driven for success. Ideally you will have a strong network of local contacts in the construction or property trust industries. Superior written and verbal communication skills are essential, together with organisation, discipline and a proven ability to present to all levels of an organisation. A good knowledge of English and French language is preferred.
The successful candidate will come from a solution sales background with a proven track record meeting and exceeding targets and in leading successful teams.
