The Role
The Role
General Job Description (Role Objectives)
Projects and Production Scheduling &Reporting required for Tenders and Operations; for projects undertaken by the company. (Company annual turnover US$ 55 million, average 40 projects per year)
List of Responsibilities (Job Description)
•Prepare Tender and Construction Schedules and Reports using CCS Site Plan and / or MS Projects.
•Provide cash flow charts for Production and Projects.
•Maintain a schedule of progress against programme for all current projects both at factory and site operations and issue to management on a weekly and monthly basis.
•Prepare monthly invoice forecast based on the current jobs progress.
•Produce Resource Schedules for:
•Manpower: requirement / forecast for ongoing jobs, report against actual.
•Materials: factory and site requirements
•Plant & Equipment: as tendered vs actual
•Produce monthly progress photographs of all projects.
•Attend internal Kick-Off Meetings and Project Kick-off meetings with clients.
Reporting to: Qatar Operations Manager
Subordinates: Estimators & QS Team
Other Interactions: Internal Heads of Departments and Clients
Job Duration: Permanent Employment
Employment Status: Single
Desired Start Date: 01 June 2008
Probation Period: 6 months (Qatar Labour Law)
Working Hours: Sat - Thurs; 7:30am-5pm (alternative Saturdays off); Fridays week-end
Travel Requirement: Site visits within Qatar
Monthly Salary: QR
Bonus: Paid in line with annual company profits (1-3 months basic salary)
Other Benefits:
Housing Rent Allowance (HRA) in line with AMB structure, or Company provided accommodation;
Company provided transport (Nissan TIIDA);
Health insurance: Qatar Gov. Provision;
Annual Leave: 30 Calendar Days per year (Qatar Law);
Air Fare: Single Economy ticket to first port of entry for self

Required Candidate Profile (Personal Attributes; Qualifications & Experience):
Personal Attributes:
•Good command of English Language, spoken and written.
•Self starter and self motivated.
•Use initiative.
•Ensure that project deadlines are met.
•Must be able to Multi Task.
•Must be capable of working under pressure to meet tight submission schedules.
•Must be willing to work overtime to meet the schedule completion dates.
•Must be capable of scheduling and managing own work load.
•Must be a team player.
•Must be presentable and confident to meet Clients to discuss claims & variations.
Qualifications and Experience:
•Diploma in Construction Planning or Engineer with suitable experience.
•Experience in the Building Industry particular to interiors, housing, villas and steel structure construction.
•Minimum 5 years in a similar role with 2 years ME experience.
•Competent with MS Office Software.
•Competent with MS Projects Software.
•Competent with CCS (Site Plan) Software.
•GCC driving license added advantage.
