The Role
The Role
JOB PURPOSE
Manage both sales and relationship functions of the Desk. Manage Treasury products delivery and actively market these products and services to financial institutions, corporate and private-banking customers, both inside and outside Kuwait. Guide the team in pricing options and other financial derivatives to clients. Ensure high quality services amongst Treasury Officers. Manage the desk to achieve business objectives.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Manage the Treasury Sales (Derivatives) Desk
* Maintain regular contact with important corporate and private banking clients, in collaboration with relationship officers where required
* Provide bank customers, subordinates and colleagues with market information and Treasury products
* Design and communicate effective strategies for customer hedging, speculative and investment requirements.
* Promote innovation in product range and marketing strategy
* Ensure all internal procedures and guidelines and external regulations are followed.
* Ensure constant, clear and smooth day-to-day communication with the FX, MM and other areas in the bank.
* Liaise with other divisions within the bank and foreign branches to reconcile and ensure smooth, correct and timely flow of information.

REQUIRED EDUCATION: University Degree
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 8-10 Years
REQUIRED SKILLS:
* Strong marketing, communication and negotiation skills
* Strong presentation skills
* Experience in various financial products
* Good knowledge of the various desks in the dealing room
* Ability to devise creative hedging solutions to meet customer needs
* Managerial skills
