The RoleThe RolePURPOSE OF JOB Trade derivatives and fixed income instruments in accordance with the general guidelines of the Desk and under the supervision of the Derivatives and Chief Trader. Generate incremental income through proprietary trading in options, futures and swaps on various asset classes. Take intra-day and inter-day trading positions. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: * Ensure that all Bank and regulatory guidelines and rules are complied with. * Take, in coordination with and under the supervision of the Derivatives Chief Trader positions in various derivatives instruments. * Generate incremental profit through proprietary trading. * Provide market information and forecasts regarding his or her trading activities and report daily profit/loss to the Derivatives Chief Trader. |
RequirementsRequirementsREQUIRED EDUCATION: University Degree REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 4-6 years in related function REQUIRED SKILLS: * Good trading skills in various derivatives instruments * Ability to quickly and accurately analyze various financial events * Ability to work under pressure |
