The Role


The Role


Job Purpose:

To arrange and co-ordinate events, exhibitions and conferences to promote the image of Qatar
and QOC.
Key Results Area:
•To ensure that events are professionally arranged and conducted
•To promote the image of Qatar and QOC by arranging events of a high standard
•To establish standard systems and procedures for events co-ordination
•To develop a source of competent suppliers to provide support in events.
•To develop an annual plan for recurring events, meetings and conferences
•Provide overall coordination of a variety of medium to large scale "high-level" events.
•Provide oversight to vendors, function venues, and publications of materials related to events.

Requirements


Requirements


Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
•Degree in Marketing or Public Relations, plus at least 5 years experience in the field.
•Well-developed ability to speak, read, write in Arabic.
•Ability to speak, read, write in English - level 6.
•Ideally member of professional body (PR or Marketing).
•Knowledge of policies, procedures, regulations applicable to Public Relations and Marketing
